Retroid Pocket has unveiled the Lite Plus version of its dual-screen Android handheld console, the Duo. The device maintains the design of the previous Lite model, featuring a 5.5-inch 1920x1080 60Hz LCD upper display and a 4.2-inch 960x720 60Hz LCD lower screen.
The primary hardware upgrade in the Lite Plus is the processor. The company replaced the Qualcomm QCS6125 chip found in the Lite version with the Q-7790, which is also used in the standard Duo model. The handheld is equipped with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The retail price for the new console is set at ¥1498. Customers can purchase the device starting September 22 at 14:00. A pre-order discount is available until November 10, lowering the price to ¥1348. The company expects to begin shipping units around November 20.
