The Series A funding round for Spott was led by Balderton Capital, with additional investment from Base10 Partners, Y Combinator, and Fortino. This follows a €2.8 million seed round secured in March 2025. The company, founded in 2024 by Lander Degreve, Manu Vanderveeren, and Samuel Smeys, aims to replace fragmented legacy software in the recruitment sector with an AI-native operating system.
Spott reports that its revenue has increased more than tenfold since the beginning of 2026. The platform currently serves hundreds of agencies, including CGP Group, which operates across 12 countries. Geographically, 20% of the company's revenue originates from the APAC region, while 15% comes from the US market.
The new capital will support international expansion, including the opening of offices in Sydney and New York. Spott intends to use the funds to develop new enterprise features and enhance its agentic AI capabilities. The company plans to increase its headcount from 44 to approximately 60 employees by the end of the year.
