The Paris-based startup Rayon has secured €10 million in a Series A funding round. The investment was led by Partech, with participation from existing investors Northzone, Foundamental, and Seedcamp. This latest injection of capital brings the company's total funding to nearly €16 million.
Rayon provides a browser-based drawing platform tailored for interior and experiential design. The software allows users to import PDF, image, and DWG files, manage project data, and collaborate in real-time. The platform aims to replace traditional CAD tools originally built for architecture and engineering.
The company is currently integrating AI and 3D features directly into its drawing environment. Current AI capabilities include a floor plan vectorizer that converts scanned images into editable drawings and a tool that generates components from photos. Rayon also offers a mobile application and a presentation mode.
With the new funding, Rayon intends to scale its go-to-market operations and further develop its AI tools. The company plans to release its V4 update before the end of the year, which will introduce expanded AI functionality and 3D design capabilities.
