A 3D artist recently discovered a unique piece of hardware while purchasing RTX 5090 graphics cards on the secondary market for a project. The device is a special ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5090 White OC 30th Anniversary Edition, which features an autograph from NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang on the backplate.

The buyer initially assumed the signature belonged to an ASUS executive. After comparing the handwriting with footage from the ASUS 30th anniversary event, the artist confirmed it was the exact unit showcased by Jensen Huang himself. The card remains in its original, unopened packaging and has never been installed in a computer.

The artist has decided to consign the rare GPU to Bonhams auction house. The item is scheduled for an online auction running from October 4 to October 14, 2026. Experts estimate the final sale price will fall between $10,000 and $15,000, though market analysts suggest the final bid could exceed these projections.

The ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5090 White OC 30th Anniversary Edition features a white triple-fan cooling system. The backplate includes Jensen Huang's signature and the phrase RTX ON. For context, standard RTX 5090 models currently retail for over $5,000, with high-end overclocked versions reaching prices near $10,000 in certain markets.
