Japanese exchange Rakuten Wallet is continuing its promotional campaign by distributing physical Shiba Inu souvenir coins at upcoming seminars. The next event is scheduled for November 3, 2026, as part of the Investment Academy and Currency Economics Academy seminar series. Senior analyst Matsuda will represent the company at the event.

The metal tokens, first introduced in July 2026, serve as collectibles and have no functional connection to the blockchain or actual SHIB assets. The coins are produced using sandblasting technology to achieve a specific finish. Rakuten Wallet previously distributed these items at an event in Fukuoka and plans similar activities in Sapporo and Osaka.

To receive a coin, participants must present their SHIB holdings within the Rakuten Wallet mobile application to staff at the company's booth. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to engage meme coin holders through offline events. The exchange added SHIB to its trading platform in April 2026 and includes it in its existing physical coin series alongside Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP.
