At the 2026 Qiyuan Robot Global Product Launch, the company unveiled two new humanoid robots, the Qiyuan Q1 and T1. The Q1 model is designed for personal use and features a height of 88 centimeters. Its compact design allows it to be folded and carried in a backpack. Users can customize the robot's appearance through 3D printing, as well as adjust its personality, voice, and interactive movements.

The Qiyuan T1 model introduces a transformable design, allowing the robot to switch between a wheeled humanoid form and a quadrupedal configuration. This capability marks it as the first transformable personal robot in the industry. Both models are powered by the company's proprietary egg-shaped joint technology, which is described as the smallest mass-produced joint in the sector.

The egg-shaped joints weigh 260 grams with a diameter of 47 millimeters and offer a peak torque density of 85 N·m/kg. Furthermore, Qiyuan has partnered with Tencent Cloud to integrate its robots with the WorkBuddy platform. This makes Qiyuan the first embodied AI enterprise to adopt the WorkBuddy system for its hardware lineup.

Qiyuan operates as a consumer-facing brand under the parent company Shangwei New Material Technology. The company officially entered the personal robotics market at the end of 2025, led by co-founder and CTO Peng Zhihui, also known as Zhihuijun. The Q1 is marketed as the world's first personal robot with extensive structural customization options.
