Publicly listed crypto treasury companies increased their digital asset holdings last week despite market volatility ahead of the Federal Reserve interest rate decision. BitMine Immersion Technologies acquired 27,180 ETH, bringing its total to 5.956 million tokens, which represents 4.9% of the circulating supply. Of these, 5.07 million tokens are currently staked.
DeFi Development Corp increased its Solana holdings by 2% to 2.39 million SOL since August 27. The firm also launched a $300 million at-the-market program for its Solana-backed preferred stock, CHAD. Meanwhile, Strive purchased 469 BTC between September 8 and 11 at an average price of $77,954, bringing its total treasury to 25,000 coins.
Strategy, the largest public Bitcoin holder, did not add to its 845,050 BTC stack. Instead, the company repurchased $139 million of its own STRC stock. The firm reports holding $6.4 billion in USD assets as of September 13, 2026. Its average cost per Bitcoin remains at $75,412.
Market participants are preparing for the Federal Open Market Committee meeting on September 16. CME FedWatch data from September 11 indicates an 85.6% probability of a quarter-point interest rate hike. Higher rates typically increase the cost of holding non-yielding assets, potentially pressuring crypto prices in the near term.
