ProLogium Technology has officially launched mass production of its Gen 3.5 Lithium Ceramic Battery at its manufacturing facility in Taiwan. Independent testing by TÜV confirms that the 185.4 Ah cell achieves a specific energy of 381 Wh/kg and an energy density of 903 Wh/L. The battery also passed the GB/T 43568-2026 standard, showing a weight loss of under 0.05% during vacuum testing at 120 degrees Celsius.
The cells utilize the proprietary Logithium architecture, which incorporates a ceramic separator and an edge-frame structure for insulation. ProLogium has been developing this technology since 2012, transitioning from sheet-by-sheet production in 2013 to a Giga-level platform in 2024. The production line received IATF 16949 automotive certification in 2022.
The company currently supplies cells to a US automotive audio-system manufacturer, with over 900,000 units delivered across 175 orders. Additionally, the technology is used by a Japanese automaker and in various unmanned systems. ProLogium is now preparing for its Gen 4 battery, which features an inorganic superfluidized electrolyte system and an Active Safety Mechanism to prevent thermal runaway.
ProLogium intends to establish a global manufacturing network spanning Taiwan, France, and North America. The initial phase of the North American strategy involves producing Inlays in France for assembly into pouch cells by local partners. The company may consider expanding Inlay production capacity directly within the United States in the future.
