Postbank, the fourth-largest bank in Bulgaria by assets as of June 30, 2026, intends to integrate investment services into its mobile application. The bank plans to enable users to trade cryptocurrencies, stocks, gold, and other commodities, including exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
The service will focus on fractional investing, allowing customers to purchase portions of assets. Postbank will not develop the trading infrastructure internally but will instead partner with an international investment platform, which has not yet been publicly disclosed.
The launch of these features is scheduled for early 2027. The bank has not yet provided details regarding specific available assets, fee structures, or custody arrangements for client holdings.
This initiative follows a similar announcement from First Investment Bank (Fibank), which also plans to introduce crypto investment features in its My Fibank app by early 2027. Unlike Postbank, Fibank has confirmed a partnership with the Austrian platform Bitpanda.
