Piklema, a developer of IT solutions for the mining industry, and the T1 IT holding have entered into a partnership agreement. The companies will combine Piklema's product expertise with T1's integration capabilities to implement industrial information systems.

The collaboration focuses on computer vision, production data analysis, equipment robotics, and process control. The partners aim to offer integrated solutions that account for investment cycles, IT team workloads, and capital expenditure requirements.

According to HSE University data, ERP systems are used by 18.6% of manufacturing organizations, MES by 11.6%, and digital twins by 3.3%. Piklema estimates that the potential market for industrial IT systems in manufacturing exceeds 90%.

Companies cite the need for technology adaptation (50%) and integration complexity (45%) as the primary barriers to digital transformation. The partnership intends to address these challenges by providing comprehensive proposals and pilot projects.

T1 will provide infrastructure support and information security, while Piklema will supply AI-based solutions and digital advisors. This approach is designed to facilitate the replacement of foreign software without disrupting continuous production processes.
