Pi Network has introduced four technical updates for developers and businesses ahead of its inaugural Ecosystem Summit, scheduled for November 17–19. The updates include a redesigned Developer Portal for managing access keys and app wallets, and integration with AI coding assistants like Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex for the SoloHost service.
The Pi BlockExplorer now displays historical price data for trial tokens such as SLICE, which the company states will not be part of its live network. Additionally, the PiVerify identity-check service has implemented new checks for duplicate faces and repeat live-person verification to identify fraudulent accounts. Business clients utilize PI tokens to pay for these verification services.
Despite these updates, the PI token price remains near $0.078, showing a 13% decline over the past month and a 97% drop from its February 2025 peak of $2.99. Historical data indicates that previous product events in March and June were followed by price drops of approximately 33% and 12%, respectively.
The network has not disclosed specific client numbers or pricing for PiVerify, nor has it set a date for the first live token launch on its Launchpad platform. The upcoming summit will feature application demonstrations and a hackathon, though the long-term impact of these technical changes on token demand remains uncertain.
