Perk, a company with headquarters in London and Boston, has expanded its travel and spend management platform into the U.S. market. The firm aims to address a sector where annual corporate spending on business travel and team events exceeds $1 billion.
The platform, Perk Spend, features an AI-native architecture and agentic capabilities. It includes a 'bring your own card' (BYOC) function, allowing businesses to integrate existing corporate card programs directly with the Perk Travel system for unified transaction reconciliation.
The company plans to launch a corporate charge card in the U.S. soon. This card will offer features for managing spend controls, earning cashback, and facilitating secure global payments. Perk executives emphasize that the solution provides real-time visibility into expenses without sacrificing employee flexibility.
This expansion follows the launch of Perk Spend in Europe, where the combined travel and spend offering accounts for up to 40% of new deals. The U.S. currently contributes 30% of the company's global new business, and Perk expects similar adoption rates for its new integrated platform in the region.
