Paradex, a decentralized derivatives exchange on Starknet, reached $250 million in options open interest. This growth follows the platform's integration with the Paradigm request-for-quote liquidity network, which went live around September 15.
Within four days of the integration, options open interest increased 2.6 times to $202 million. Daily notional options volumes on the platform subsequently settled in a range between $14.5 million and $17.6 million.
The platform recorded a single ETH options trade valued at $15.76 million with a premium cost of $45,220. This represents a premium-to-notional ratio of approximately 0.29 percent.
Since its mainnet launch in February 2024, Paradex has processed over $250 billion in perpetual futures volume. Perpetual open interest previously peaked between $500 million and $800 million in early 2026, before declining to a range of $10 million to $20 million.
Paradex operates with zero fees for retail traders, supported by infrastructure subsidies from Paradigm. The platform utilizes Starknet zero-knowledge proof technology for trade verification, and introduced its native DIME token in March 2026.
