Ozon Tech and Innopolis University have launched a joint robotics and computer vision workshop. Ten students from the university were selected for the program following a two-stage process involving testing and interviews.
The participants are divided into two tracks: five students focus on computer vision, while the other five work on robotics. The curriculum covers object detection, video stream analysis, machine learning model application, and logistics automation.
The program lasts six months, with students dedicating 15 to 20 hours per week to their tasks. They are officially integrated into the Ozon Tech development team, receive necessary hardware, and are paid a monthly stipend by Ozon.
Experts from Ozon Tech and the university provide ongoing mentorship to the students. Upon completion, top-performing participants may be offered career opportunities within the Ozon Tech product operations team.
