Oracle AI World is scheduled for October 28 in Las Vegas. The event will focus on integrating agentic AI into enterprise workflows and addressing infrastructure, security, and governance requirements for AI at scale.

Oracle plans to showcase updates to its Autonomous AI Lakehouse, which combines Autonomous Database capabilities with the Apache Iceberg open table format. The platform is designed to support both analytic and AI workloads across major cloud providers.

The company is highlighting its strategy for AI-driven database security, including tools for patching, testing, and lifecycle management. Oracle emphasizes an integrated architectural approach to ensure trust across the AI, data, and application development layers.

New features include APEXlang, a language for application definition that allows coding agents to generate structured applications. Additionally, Oracle will detail the Exadata VM Live Migration capability, announced in June, which enables moving active database VMs between hosts while maintaining RDMA connections.
