Oracle has introduced Fusion Claw, an execution runtime designed to enable autonomous planning and task execution within its cloud applications. Following the announcement, the company’s shares rose by approximately 4.2%. The system is scheduled for general release in early October 2026.
The launch adds 25 new agentic applications to Oracle’s portfolio, bringing the total to 75. These tools cover core enterprise functions, including ledger automation for finance, workforce staffing for human resources, shipping consolidation for supply chains, and territory planning for sales teams.
Fusion Claw utilizes third-party AI models, such as Google Gemini and OpenAI, for reasoning, while delegating execution to deterministic business logic. The platform supports integration via APIs, Model Control Protocol, and the Agent2Agent protocol to ensure secure, auditable workflows.
Additionally, Oracle announced a partnership with NetApp to launch the OCI NetApp Storage Service. This offering integrates NetApp’s ONTAP operating system into Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, allowing companies to migrate workloads without rearchitecting storage. General availability is expected within 12 months.
