Oppo has secured the top positions in both the smartphone and operating system performance rankings published by Master Lu. The ColorOS 17 system achieved a score of 220.63 points, marking its eighth consecutive quarter as the leader in the OS category.
The Oppo Find X10 Pro Max smartphone topped the hardware list with 240.70 points. The device is equipped with a Dimensity 9600 Pro processor, LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 4.1 storage, complemented by the Ice River cooling system.
Performance gains in ColorOS 17 are attributed to two proprietary engines. The Aurora Engine integrates rendering processes, reducing memory consumption by 25 percent and rendering load by 30 percent, which improves interface fluidity.
The Tide Engine manages resource allocation based on user behavior and optimizes background processes. According to company data, this mechanism has increased the retention of background applications by 55.6 percent compared to the previous generation.
