Paris-based startup Opio secured €4 million in a funding round led by Frst, Seedcamp, and GFC. The company, established in 2025 by Tristan Fulchiron and Olivier Chancé, develops AI-powered software designed to automate financial due diligence processes for auditors.
The platform collects, verifies, and structures financial data, which reportedly reduces the time spent on manual tasks by 27 per cent. According to the founders, this automation allows professionals to shift their focus toward analysis and client management earlier in the acquisition process.
Opio currently serves major industry players, including Forvis Mazars Group and BDO. Its technology is utilized by transaction services teams across 15 countries. The company also counts several angel investors among its backers, including executives from Pennylane and Dust, as well as former staff from HSBC, Deutsche Bank, and KKR.
Currently, 15 per cent of the company's revenue originates outside of France. Opio aims to increase this share to 50 per cent within the next year, focusing on growth in the UK, Germany, and France. The startup plans to launch a second product in early 2027 and intends to expand its presence in statutory auditing and certification services.
