OpenAI has introduced GPT-6 alongside a new Intelligent UI feature for ChatGPT. This update enables the AI to generate interactive tools, such as calculators, forms, and charts, directly within the chat interface based on user requests.
The Intelligent UI system utilizes a native streaming component library and a compiler that processes interface structures in real-time as the model generates content. This allows interactive elements to appear progressively during the response generation process.
GPT-6 features optimized response speeds, allowing the model to begin outputting results while still processing information. This reduces wait times for users, who can view partial results before the full response is finalized.
Access to GPT-6 and Intelligent UI is currently rolling out to ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise subscribers, who receive the GPT-6 Sol version. Free and Go users will subsequently gain access to the GPT-6 Luna version.
The new capabilities are currently limited to the standard ChatGPT chat interface. Specialized products like Work and Codex remain unchanged, as the update focuses on daily tasks and general user interactions rather than professional development environments.
