OpenAI is preparing to unveil 20 new products at its annual DevDay conference, which will take place on September 29 in San Francisco. The event will feature 22 sessions focused on new tools, agents, and workflows, concluding with a keynote address by CEO Sam Altman.

The company attributes this rapid development pace to its GPT-6 Astra model, released on September 3. According to executive Tibo Sottiaux, the model significantly boosted internal productivity, allowing teams to accelerate pipelines in areas such as video production, code optimization, and complex workflows.

Among the upcoming releases are Images 2.5 and a specialized version of ChatGPT for financial services. The latter is designed to meet strict enterprise requirements, including compliance, auditability, and domain-specific accuracy.

GPT-6 Astra has demonstrated high performance on technical benchmarks, achieving a 100% score on ExploitBench for cybersecurity vulnerabilities and 98% on the FrontierMath Tier 4 test for advanced mathematical reasoning.
