Ondas Inc. and Palantir Technologies launched a new company, Regna AI, on October 12, 2026. The venture focuses on developing custom, mission-specialized AI models for government, defense, and enterprise clients. These models are designed to operate independently of external servers, ensuring that data and algorithms remain under the control of the user.

Palantir is providing the necessary infrastructure for model training and engineering support, though it holds no ownership stake in Regna AI. The technical approach utilizes open-weight architectures, allowing clients to inspect and modify the models. Deployment will occur within customer-controlled environments using Palantir’s AIP, Foundry, and Apollo platforms.

The AI models are intended for edge hardware, including drones and ground vehicles, to support operations in environments with limited or no connectivity. This initiative builds on a prior collaboration between the two companies, which included the SkyWeaver C4I program focused on intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance.

Ondas reported significant commercial growth alongside the launch. As of October 7, 2026, the company secured over $165 million in new orders, with total orders exceeding $270 million since June 30, 2026. The companies previously announced a partnership in March 2026.
