Berlin-based startup OllyGarden has secured $4 million in a new funding round. The investment was led by Next Frontier Capital, Grand Ventures, and ACTAI Ventures, with participation from DIG Ventures. This follows a $1.6 million pre-seed round from July 2025, bringing the company's total funding to approximately $5.6 million.
The startup focuses on reducing telemetry waste, which includes logs, metrics, and traces generated by software. OllyGarden claims its tools can help companies reduce log volume by up to 85%. The company uses an AI agent named Rose to examine code and submit pull requests for improvements, aiming to keep data volume low while maintaining quality.
Strategic investors in the company include Datadog, Grafana Labs, and Dash0. These firms provide platforms for storing and searching telemetry data and are also developing AI agents for analysis. OllyGarden aims to fix instrumentation issues at the source, ensuring that AI agents receive reliable data rather than noisy, low-quality inputs.
The company plans to use the fresh capital to support engineering efforts, go-to-market initiatives, and expanded offerings for open-source projects. CEO Juraci Paixão Kröhling, who previously worked at Red Hat and Grafana Labs, serves on the governance committee for OpenTelemetry and developed the Instrumentation Score method.
