Oklo Inc. is developing the Aurora Powerhouse, a sodium-cooled fast reactor with a capacity of 15 to 75 MWe. The company expects the first commercial unit to launch at the Idaho National Laboratory by 2028. The Department of Energy approved the project's safety analysis in June 2026, and Kiewit is managing construction, which began in September 2025.

The company has secured non-binding framework agreements with Switch and Meta, bringing its total order book to approximately 14 GW. The project with Meta involves a 1.2 GW campus in Ohio, with construction slated for 2026–2027 and a potential launch in 2030. These agreements currently represent customer interest rather than firm financial commitments.

To fuel its reactors, Oklo signed a letter of intent with Centrus Energy in June 2026 for HALEU deliveries starting in 2029. Additionally, the company announced a $1 billion at-the-market equity program in September 2026. Oklo currently generates no revenue from power operations and relies on the DOE Reactor Pilot Program to streamline licensing.

Oklo’s Groves Isotope Test Reactor reached first criticality on August 5, 2026. The company trades on the NYSE under the ticker OKLO. Analysts note that the conversion of existing non-binding agreements into firm contracts will be a key indicator for the company over the next 12 to 18 months.
