Russia has ramped up its oil exports to the highest volume recorded since May. The current daily shipment rate is reported at 3.54 million barrels. This surge follows recent drone attacks on the East-West pipeline in Saudi Arabia, which have significantly impacted global energy markets.
The disruption to the Saudi infrastructure potentially affects up to 4% of the total global oil supply. Consequently, the price of Brent crude has risen above $105 per barrel. Market analysts are now evaluating the possibility of prices hitting new record highs by the end of September.
Geopolitical tensions continue to drive volatility in the energy sector. Investors are closely tracking statements from officials, including OPEC’s Mohammad Sanusi Barkindo and Saudi Energy Minister Abdulaziz bin Salman Al Saud, to gauge future policy responses and market stability.
