The Nvidia Vera processor was tested in the Daytona environment, a specialized platform for executing AI-generated code and managing agent workflows. During these tests, the chip was compared against AMD Epyc 9755 and Epyc 9575F server processors.

Performance metrics show that Nvidia Vera launched 1000 AI agent sandboxes in 10.8 seconds, while 2000 sandboxes were initialized in 27 seconds. According to the data, the Vera processor completes the 2000-sandbox task faster than the AMD Epyc 9575F handles 1000.

While Vera outperformed the AMD models in these specific tests, the comparison involves different architectures. The AMD Epyc chips tested belong to a previous generation, as the company has already introduced newer Zen 6-based processors.

The report notes that Nvidia Vera is a highly specialized CPU designed for specific workloads. In contrast, the AMD Epyc line consists of general-purpose server processors, which may account for differences in performance across various computing tasks.
