Nvidia has introduced a new configuration of its DGX Spark mini-PC, featuring 64 GB of RAM. This release follows the original model, which launched with 128 GB of RAM for $4,000. Despite the reduction in memory capacity, the new variant is priced at $5,000, while the Founders Edition remains available for $4,700.

The company notes that the 64 GB version is capable of running AI models with up to 100 billion parameters. In comparison, the original 128 GB model supports models with up to 200 billion parameters. Nvidia emphasizes that these units are designed to operate in clusters, allowing users to combine multiple systems for increased performance.

Distribution of the new 64 GB model will be handled exclusively through partners. These partners are responsible for setting their own configurations and regional pricing. While the official price is set at $5,000, market prices for partner-sold units are expected to reach approximately $6,000, making the new version more affordable than existing partner offerings.
