Nvidia has secured the top position in the 2026 World’s Best Companies ranking by TIME and Statista for the second consecutive year. The chipmaker achieved a composite score of 97.51 out of 100, following a score of 97.62 in the previous year.
The annual list evaluates 1,000 global companies based on three equally weighted criteria: employee satisfaction, three-year revenue growth, and sustainability transparency. The methodology incorporates survey data from over 200,000 employees worldwide.
Cigna holds the second spot with a score of 94.37, followed by Apple at 93.16. Meta Platforms and AstraZeneca complete the top five. Apple returned to the upper tier this year despite ranking 24th in the sustainability transparency category.
The top five companies are predominantly based in the United States, with the exception of the Anglo-Swedish pharmaceutical firm AstraZeneca. Nvidia’s consistent performance across all three evaluation pillars contributed to its leading position.
