Nvidia has reportedly increased shipments of its Grace Blackwell AI platform by 27% month-over-month. The company is accelerating production to meet high demand from major cloud providers, including Microsoft, Google, and Amazon.
The Grace Blackwell platform integrates Grace CPUs with Blackwell GPUs, specifically designed for rack-scale systems like the GB200 NVL72. These liquid-cooled configurations are intended for data centers handling large-scale AI workloads.
Current production rates for Blackwell rack systems have reached hundreds of units per week. Analysts estimate that cumulative shipments of Blackwell GPU packages will reach the low millions by late 2025, potentially capturing over 70% of Nvidia’s high-end market share by 2026.
Nvidia reported a 13% sequential growth in hyperscale revenue during the second quarter of its 2027 fiscal year. The company's CEO, Jensen Huang, has noted that demand for these products continues to exceed current supply capabilities.
The deployment of these systems is driving significant industry investment in data center infrastructure, as traditional air-cooled facilities cannot support the liquid-cooling requirements of the GB200 NVL72 hardware.
