NtechLab has deployed an AI-powered video analytics system in the Kaluga region to assist law enforcement. The technology is integrated into the Safe City hardware and software complex, enabling the identification of wanted criminals and missing persons through urban surveillance cameras.

The system processes video streams from dozens of cameras located on major streets, parks, and squares in Kaluga. According to the developer, the facial recognition accuracy exceeds 99.9 percent. The AI identifies individuals within a fraction of a second.

Future plans include expanding the system's capabilities to recognize vehicle license plates. This upgrade will allow authorities to track cars involved in crimes, reported stolen, or under investigation by scanning traffic flows in real time.

NtechLab already operates in several Russian regions, including the Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, and Samara regions, as well as the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and the North Caucasian Federal District. The company previously launched its first project in the region in 2025 in the city of Obninsk.
