Nord Clan has launched the ML Sense Conveyor Belts module, an AI-powered system for automatic integrity control of conveyor belts. The product is included in the Russian domestic software registry and is currently being deployed at various enterprises across Russia.

The system uses cameras and sensors to monitor conveyor lines in real-time. A neural network algorithm analyzes the video stream to detect tears, cuts, and punctures starting from 10 mm with an accuracy of up to 98%. Once a defect is part ofs identified, the system records its coordinates and immediately notifies the operator.

The solution supports various belt types, including rubber-fabric, rubber-cable, food-grade, and solid-rolled metal belts. It is designed for use in mining, metallurgy, metallurgy, chemical, food, and mechanical engineering industries.

The software integrates with PLC, SCADA, MES, and 1C systems, as well as industrial safety systems. It operates stably under poor lighting, high humidity, and temperature fluctuations, and can be installed without stopping production. The system can also monitor multiple conveyor lines simultaneously and check the belt joints.
