The CAIM1, or Counter Artificial Intelligence Machine 1, is a niche camera designed to verify the authenticity of photo and video content. The device performs 4K60 video capture alongside real-time cryptographic proof generation to ensure media has not been altered or AI-generated. This process creates significant heat within the compact, enclosed chassis of the camera.

To manage thermal throttling, the developers integrated a Noctua NF-A4x10 5V fan. This component features an SSO2 bearing system and PWM control, selected for its low noise levels and minimal microvibrations, which are critical for high-quality audio recording. The fan is positioned behind the image sensor to direct airflow across an alloy heatsink backplate.

Currently, the CAIM1 remains in the prototyping phase. The existing units utilize 3D-printed shells made from Prusament PETG. The company plans to showcase these prototypes at upcoming trade shows in Japan later this month. A wider commercial release for the device is scheduled for the first quarter of 2027.
