The Zelenograd-based microelectronics manufacturer NM-Tech has entered into a subsequent pledge agreement dated August 21, 2026, for hundreds of units of equipment. The assets, which were already under encumbrance, include ASML exposure units (PAS5500 and PAS5500/400C), TEL ACT8MEGA photoresist processing systems, and AMAT CENTURA 5202 SuperE 4ch plasma-chemical etching units.
The pledge also covers ion implantation systems from VARIAN, AMAT, and Axcelis, as well as AMAT ENDURA magnetron sputtering systems and TEL a-8SE dielectric deposition furnaces. Additionally, the company pledged 28 chillers, five Wartsila gas-piston power units, drone detection and counteraction systems, and vehicles including GAC M8, Moskvich MZE, Skoda, and Evolute models.
The company is owned by VEB.RF, which opened a credit line of 116.4 ₽ billion in 2023 for equipment acquisition and production launch. According to 2024 audit reports, technology setup costs reached 14.99 ₽ billion. The subsequent pledge is intended to secure new financing, potentially for the construction of the FAB-300 factory for 28nm chip production.
NM-Tech is developing the FAB-200 facility based on the former Angstrem-T plant, utilizing 200mm silicon wafers. The company has mastered 250nm and 130nm processes, with 90nm currently under development. The goal is to reach full project capacity by 2028, producing up to 15,000 wafers per month in a contract manufacturing format.
