New Era Energy & Digital (NASDAQ: NUAI) has seen its stock price rise by more than 60% since late May 2026. The company, formerly focused on natural gas and helium, completed its transition to AI data center infrastructure in late 2025.

On September 18, 2026, the company signed a 20-year power purchase agreement with Luminant ET Services Company, an affiliate of Vistra Corp. This deal secures 200 to 207 megawatts of power from a plant in Odessa, Texas, with deliveries expected in the third quarter of 2027.

The firm is developing the Texas Critical Data Center (TCDC) in the Permian Basin, covering 438 to 493 acres. The project aims for a total compute capacity of 1.4 gigawatts. To support these plans, New Era has secured $290 million through a credit facility.

The company has hired staff from Microsoft and AWS to manage its infrastructure development. As of late September 2026, analysts maintain a Strong Buy consensus rating on the stock with a 12-month price target of $11.00.
