NetApp and Iterate.ai have partnered to launch the AIPod Mini, a turnkey appliance designed to facilitate private generative AI deployments for enterprises. The system integrates NetApp infrastructure with the Iterate.ai Generate platform, allowing companies to run AI queries locally using open-weight models while maintaining full control over their data.

The AIPod Mini comes pre-configured with over 200 agent templates, more than 200 skills, and access to over 800 tools. According to Iterate.ai, the platform focuses on outcome-based AI, with one insurance use case reducing accident-report analysis time from eight hours to eight minutes.

In the healthcare sector, Iterate.ai deployed a revenue cycle agent that identified $17.4 million in denied claims for a hospital with $150 million in annual billing. The system utilizes a chain of three agents to process payer contracts, analyze denials, and draft resubmissions.

During the NetApp INSIGHT event, NetApp also introduced Novus, a new storage architecture built to support zettabyte-scale capacity for AI factories. The company emphasizes that this storage infrastructure is essential for providing the context and memory required for effective AI operations.
