New York-based financial startup Nebex has entered into a strategic partnership with the Mexican manufacturer Thrusters Unlimited. The collaboration aims to structure $700 million in funding dedicated to Mexico's sovereign space programs, focusing on Earth observation, telecommunications, and other strategic capabilities.

Nebex will utilize its financial exchange platform to manage capital flows, procurement requirements, and national priorities. Thrusters Unlimited will contribute local industry expertise and facilitate connections with Mexican suppliers and procurement programs to streamline the supply chain.

Founded in 2025 by former Axiom Space executives Tejpaul Bhatia and Anand Subramanian, Nebex operates as a clearinghouse for global space procurement. The platform provides trade-financing solutions, insurance for payment guarantees, and mechanisms to manage cross-border financial complexities.

The company intends to address the lack of standardized capital management in the space sector. By providing tools for procurement financing and milestone-based payments, Nebex aims to reduce financial friction and prevent deal failures caused by the fragmented nature of the global space industry.
