Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX, recently criticized Delta Air Lines CEO Ed Bastian for his refusal to integrate Starlink satellite internet services into the airline's fleet. The conflict arose after reports surfaced of Bastian stating at a company event that Delta has no interest in partnering with Musk.

Bastian previously commented on Musk's reputation, suggesting that rumors surrounding the SpaceX founder are accurate. In response to these remarks, Musk took to the X platform to warn that Bastian might lose his job over the decision to reject Starlink technology.

Musk further mocked the airline's current connectivity capabilities, joking that the most effective way to isolate artificial intelligence would be to put it on a Delta flight, as it would have no internet access. He also warned that Delta risks losing customers to competitors.

Several major airlines have already adopted Starlink for in-flight connectivity, including United Airlines and Alaska Airlines. Musk emphasized that Delta's refusal to modernize its internet offerings puts the carrier at a disadvantage compared to these rivals.
