The MTS Link platform has introduced a new feature for business users in the Tyumen region, enabling real-time translation of Chinese speech during online meetings. The system converts spoken Chinese into text and generates subtitles in 19 different languages, accounting for the specific tonal nuances of the Chinese language.

Previously, the platform's artificial intelligence was limited to recognizing and translating only Russian and English. The expanded language support now includes 19 target languages, such as Japanese, Korean, Arabic, and Kazakh, among others. This update is designed to facilitate international negotiations and cross-cultural corporate communication.

The platform first introduced subtitle functionality in 2025, with real-time translation capabilities added in the first quarter of 2026. The AI has been upgraded to better handle slang, technical terminology, and abbreviations. It now analyzes the context of previous remarks to improve the coherence of the generated text.

Users can combine these automated subtitles with simultaneous interpretation services. If a human interpreter is present during an event, participants have the flexibility to select both an audio channel and a preferred subtitle language, which do not need to match.
