MTS has introduced the MFO-15, a 15-meter multifunctional tower designed to provide mobile connectivity in remote areas lacking access to power grids. The unit features a climate-controlled cabinet equipped with lithium batteries and a diesel generator, allowing it to operate independently along highways, railways, and industrial sites.

The installation process requires only three specialists and a crane-mounted truck, taking approximately three hours to complete. A single fuel refill for the diesel generator enables the base station to function for 12 days without external power. The system supports continuous operation through periodic refueling cycles.

Developed in partnership with the Nizhny Novgorod-based company Socintech-Install, the tower is designed for various industrial applications, including Private LTE and 5G networks. The manufacturer offers different configurations, including versions without battery or generator components, to suit specific operational needs.

The tower's design is scalable based on wind load requirements. Depending on the wind zone, the structure can be extended to a height of 24 meters in the first wind zone or 21.7 meters in the second wind zone. MTS plans to offer this solution to corporate clients following the completion of testing.
