MTS has deployed a new LTE base station in the village of Ust-Ivanovka, located in the Blagoveshchensky District. The new infrastructure is situated on Polevaya Street, providing coverage to the central part of the village, including local schools, kindergartens, a cultural center, and a library.
The installation of the new equipment has increased mobile internet speeds in the area by an average of 30%. The upgrade aims to improve network capacity and connectivity for residents, ensuring stable performance during peak usage hours and supporting modern digital services.
The new station enables the use of VoLTE technology, allowing users to make voice calls while simultaneously accessing data services and social media. Residents can activate this feature through their mobile device settings to improve overall communication quality.
Olesya Dvinina, Director of MTS in the Amur Region, stated that the project is part of a broader initiative to enhance connectivity across the region. The village is located near the Zeya River, and the upgrade is intended to provide residents with reliable high-speed internet access.
