MTS has introduced a new feature for its virtual assistant, allowing it to mimic the user's voice and speech patterns. This capability is integrated into the My MTS mobile application, where users can record a voice sample for processing by AI algorithms.
The company reports that 30% of Russian users expressed interest in having an answering machine that speaks in their own voice. MTS emphasizes that voice recordings are stored in a secure environment accessible only to the account owner.
Currently, the feature is available in a test mode for a limited group of subscribers. MTS plans to roll out the functionality to all users of the service in the future, marking the first implementation of such technology in the Russian telecom market.
