Motorola unveiled the Signature 27 smartphone at the Snapdragon Summit, marking the debut of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor. This device is the second in its series and introduces a new naming convention based on the upcoming year.

The device features the ArcticMesh cooling system, which is 40 percent larger than its predecessor. It utilizes diamond-particle thermal gel, liquid metal, a copper mesh, and an upgraded vapor chamber to manage heat during intensive tasks like gaming or AI processing.

Software support includes seven years of OS updates and full integration of Google Gemini AI features, such as content generation and AI agents. The Lyria technology enables music creation, while Gemini Omni allows for video generation based on text, images, or reference clips.

The camera system includes a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 910 main sensor and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. Motorola also implemented its Video Enhancement Engine for real-time AI color correction and combined electronic stabilization with optical stabilization offering a 3.5-degree correction angle.

The smartphone features audio technology developed in partnership with Bang and Olufsen. It will be available in Pantone Coal Smoke with a Tactical Weave texture and Pantone Capulet Green with a textile-like finish, with sales expected to begin before the end of 2026.
