Moscow authorities have initiated a procurement process for Kaspersky Lab software licenses and technical support services. The total value of the contract is 1,65 ₽ billion, with the final results of the competition scheduled for announcement on November 17, 2026.

The technical documentation specifies that these products are being purchased without alternatives to ensure compatibility with existing software infrastructure. The requirement references previous government contracts dating back to August 2025 and December 2023.
The primary recipient of the monitoring and security licenses is the Moscow state institution 'Informatsionny Gorod'. The Department of Information Technologies of Moscow is designated as the recipient for the business security suite and the three-year technical support certificate.
