Distributor Mont has expanded its portfolio by adding the Ideco NGFW Novum v23 firewall. The updated solution for enterprise-level companies introduces advanced control over artificial intelligence services, allowing organizations to monitor and manage access to specific AI tools within their corporate networks.
The new version identifies 83 additional protocols, enabling the system to distinguish traffic from services like ChatGPT, Claude, DeepSeek, GigaChat, and YandexGPT instead of grouping them under generic HTTPS. This functionality helps businesses prevent the leakage of sensitive data to external AI platforms.
Ideco NGFW Novum v23 includes enhanced authentication via digital certificates on hardware tokens and smart cards. Administrators can now apply filtering rules to groups of subdomains and utilize improved network management features, including QoS prioritization and faster failure detection via BFD technology.
The update also improves monitoring capabilities for clusters and VPN connections, alongside optimized integration with SIEM systems. By filtering logs before transmission, the platform reduces data volume, which simplifies incident investigation for IT and security teams.
