Momentic Inc. has launched Mo, an AI agent designed to automate software testing without the need for traditional scripts. The tool allows developers to verify applications by providing instructions, a URL, and test credentials, eliminating the manual burden of maintaining test code repositories.

The platform operates via a web interface or command-line interface, where it deploys a swarm of agents to explore the application. It can ingest context from product requirement documents, Jira issues, Linear tickets, or Confluence pages to guide its testing process.

During execution, Mo performs thousands of permutations and edge cases. Upon completion, it provides developers with a detailed report, including reproduction steps for identified bugs and video evidence of each interaction.

The company reports that customers, including Notion, Superpower, Iris, Committee for Children, and Boundless, have been testing the tool over the past few weeks. Developers retain the option to convert these agent-driven sessions into traditional scripts if needed.
