MK.Lab, a company developing the open-source solution RuOdoo, is shifting its business model toward a hybrid approach. The firm now provides access to previously closed modules, such as integrations with Diadoc and Chestny Znak, at no extra cost to clients who sign up for technical support services.

The company has released an open-source accounting module for Russian accounting standards (RSBU). This tool operates as a layer within the Odoo platform, enabling tax and financial reporting for limited liability companies and individual entrepreneurs without the need for 1C software. It supports XML reporting and military registration.

Upcoming developments include the release of MES and APS modules in November. The APS module utilizes mathematical optimization to plan production orders, which the company claims can increase operational speed by 20 percent compared to competitors. These tools are designed to be compatible with AI development.

MK.Lab is currently transitioning its internal project management system to an open-source model. The company has introduced a 'directive layer' to its ERP system, which facilitates the orchestration of tasks between human operators and AI agents, addressing a gap in modern ERP functionality.
