Mikron, the leading Russian microelectronics manufacturer, has pledged its real estate and equipment as collateral for loans exceeding 11.6 ₽ billion. The company utilized these funds primarily to refinance existing debt obligations. Additionally, the firm secured a loan of 380 ₽ million from its parent holding, Element, to settle debts with the Industrial Development Fund and bolster working capital.

Corporate records indicate that in December 2023, Mikron established an 8.56 billion ruble credit line maturing in 2031, collateralized by 23 real estate properties valued at 2.37 ₽ billion and land lease rights. In October 2025, the company borrowed an additional 2.8 ₽ billion for refinancing, pledging further facilities. A separate credit line of 243 ₽ million was designated for an investment project.

Parent company Element provides ongoing financial support through loans, guarantees, and sureties, with total approved loan transactions potentially reaching 1.3 ₽ billion. Despite this support, Mikron reported a loss for 2025, leading shareholders to decide against dividend payouts in June 2026. Industry observers attribute these challenges to rising operational costs, reduced subsidies, and low-margin government contracts.

Mikron currently holds over half of the Russian microelectronics market share. Its parent group, Element, is currently undergoing integration into the newly formed United Microelectronics Company, which is slated to receive investments totaling 1.1 ₽ trillion.
