The transition from Docker Swarm to Kubernetes proved to be a complex task for the project team. While the migration from docker-compose to Docker Swarm was completed in less than a month, the shift to Kubernetes has already taken more than six months.

The team notes that the process is still ongoing and has not reached full completion. The primary challenges stem from fundamental differences in management design between the two technologies and the emergence of new features that the team aimed to implement immediately.

The project utilizes Kubernetes not only for internal service deployment but also as a platform that enables clients to run their own services on the company infrastructure. This specific use case necessitates a deeper technical understanding of the platform.
