During a recent product presentation, Microsoft introduced several new devices, including AI-powered PCs built on the Nvidia RTX Spark platform. The event featured the Surface Laptop Ultra, presented by Pavan Davuluri, the executive vice president of Windows and devices.
A slide detailing the port configuration of the new computer contained a typo, labeling the product line as Surace instead of Surface. The company did not provide a comment to The Register regarding the error.
This incident follows a history of technical mishaps during Microsoft presentations, such as the infamous blue screen of death during a Windows 98 demonstration. Pavan Davuluri, who was appointed to address ongoing Windows issues, did not notice the mistake during the event.
