Microsoft has released an out-of-band emergency patch, KB5129195, to address various system-level issues triggered by the September Windows 11 update. This update is designed to restore system functionality and fix component errors that emerged following the installation of the initial September security package.

Despite the release of KB5129195, the patch does not resolve ongoing issues affecting AMD Radeon graphics card users. Reports indicate that these users are experiencing driver errors, reduced gaming stability, and graphical anomalies. Microsoft confirmed that it is currently investigating the root cause in collaboration with AMD.

The company advises users to install the emergency patch to mitigate general system instability. For those facing AMD-related graphical issues, Microsoft recommends waiting for a future update, as the current fix does not cover these specific hardware conflicts.

Additional issues have been reported following the September update, including Remote Desktop service failures on Windows Server and login screen freezes for some HP users, with the latter requiring a BIOS update. Microsoft continues to rely on rapid, out-of-band patches to address critical bugs.
