Meta Platforms unveiled its new VR glasses at the Connect 2026 event, priced at $1 299.99. The device weighs approximately 100 grams and utilizes an external compute puck for processing, connected via cable. Users can control the interface through voice commands, eye tracking, and hand gestures. The battery supports roughly three hours of media playback, with shipments scheduled for spring 2027.

The company also introduced Muse Charm, a compact keychain device designed to interact with the Muse AI agent. While Meta has produced only a small number of prototypes, the product is expected to launch in December without a disclosed price. The Muse AI agent, which runs on the Muse Spark model family, is capable of managing tasks such as scheduling appointments and sending emails.

The hardware lineup further expands with new audio-only glasses and the third-generation Ray-Ban Meta. The camera-free audio frames weigh 43 grams, cost $349, and offer up to 12 hours of battery life, with a release date of October 13. The third-generation Ray-Ban Meta starts at $449 and features a six-microphone array, alongside new style collaborations.
